Apply for a Scholarship
Scholarships open Feb. 1, 2026, and close March 31, 2026
Student Scholarship:
Open to all students (Wyoming K-12, community college, and university students) who would like to attend WyoPoets yearly April Workshop. Scholarship includes a one-year membership to WyoPoets and covers the cost of registration, meals, and one-night stayover at the Workshop location. Include a brief letter (no more than 500 words) explaining why you are applying. WyoPoets reviews all applications. Submit the letter to [email protected] with the Subject: Student Scholarship Application. Please include proof of student status with your submission.
General Scholarships:
Open to all who need some modest support in order to attend WyoPoets' yearly April Workshop. Scholarship includes a one-year membership to WyoPoets and covers the cost of registration, meals, and one-night stayover at the Workshop location. Include a brief letter (no more than 500 words) explaining why you are applying. WyoPoets reviews all applications. Please note:
- Do not simultaneously apply for more than one scholarship.
- The scholarship has no cash value to the winner(s). In the event of a cancellation of the Workshop or the awardee is unable to attend, the applicants must reapply for a future Workshop.
- No one may receive a scholarship a second time.
