Eligibility: All WyoPoets members in good standing
are eligible to enter. Poets may join WyoPoets at
the time of submission by including $20.00 dues
with their contest fees.
Rules
• Any subject, any form. Limit 40 lines.
• Limit: Up to 3 poems only.
• Entry fee: $2 per poem. Make checks payable to WyoPoets
• Prizes: $50, $35, and $20 with certificates given for Honorable Mentions.
Submission Guidelines
• Deadline: Only poems that meet the February 18th postmark deadline will be considered.
No poems will be returned, so please keep your own copies.
• ENTRIES MUST CONFORM TO THESE GUIDELINES OR THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

- One copy with your name, address, phone number, and email address in the upper right-hand corner
- Once copy without identifying information
- Name the form, such as sonnet, free verse, haiku, in upper left-hand corner of both copies.
- No graphics with any poem.

We are very pleased that Veronica Golos, the esteemed New Mexico poet and author, was our contest judge. Veronica Golos is the author of four poetry books: A Bell Buried Deep (Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize), Vocabulary of Silence (2011 New Mexico Book Award), Rootwork, and GIRL (Naji Naaman Honor Prize for Poetry.) She is the co-founding editor of the Taos Journal of International Poetry & Art. She lives in Taos, New Mexico.
