January, April and August of each year. If you can send &
receive e-mail and list your address with the newsletter editor, (s)he
will e-mail news of contests, a weekly poem from American Life in
Poetry (ALP), and other news items of interest to you.
Your membership fee also makes you a member of NFSPS (National Federation of State Poetry Societies). With each copy of the newsletter you will receive STROPHES, the newsletter from NFSPS. You can read more about NFSPS at their website: www.nfsps.org .

The deadline for the next issue is always listed above the renewal form inside the back page. Contributed poems are welcome, but please make sure they are fully revised and not too long, because of space considerations.
